The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m (1700-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 200 liras between 11 a.m. 12 p.m. local time (0800-0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 25.8% to around 1.47 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,234.88 liras and 2,49.46 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,1384.89 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.67 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Saturday.
