The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m (1400-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,440.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows an increase of 48.3% to around 2.25 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,113.40 and 3,130.56 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m (1600-2000 and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 329 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.14 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Sunday.
