The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,527.40 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 19.4% to around 1.45 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,523.51 liras and 2,544.93 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour on Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and midnight local time (0500-0800, 1400, 1500 and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,642.70 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.28 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
