The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m (1500-1800 and 2100 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 329 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 23% to around 1.51 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,362.20 and 2,400.85 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. and 12 a.m (1500-1800 and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,684.10 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.14 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100GMT) on Saturday.
