The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,799.99 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1500 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 500.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 17.4% to around 1.29 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,050.21 liras and 2,050.13 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,645 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. local time (2100 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 130 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 36.57 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
