The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-11 p.m. local time (2100-0800 and 1000-2000 GMT), according to official figures released Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 3.250 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.11% to around 2.41 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,393.75 liras and 3,392.85 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Monday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-1 a.m. local time (0500-0800 and 1000-2200 GMT), while the lowest was at 3.250 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT.
US$1 equals 40.54 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Monday.
