The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 12 a.m.–2 a.m, and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (2100–0000, and 1600–1800 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 754.10 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 31.5% to around 1.52 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,383.86 and 2,410.66 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 12 a.m.–3 a.m., at 7 a.m., and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (2100–0000, 0400, and 1600–1900 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,900 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.94 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Saturday.
