The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., and at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and midnight local time (0500-0800, 1400, 1500 and 2100 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,642.70 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 13.8% to around 1.8 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,897.79 liras and 2,914.27 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour on Friday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 4 p.m and 7 p.m. local time (0400-0800 and 1300-1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,599.99 liras at 10 p.m. local time (1900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.23 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Friday.
