The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, and 1300-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,655.01 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 31.7% to around 1.91 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,897.10 liras and 2,928.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour on Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,527.40 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.27 liras at 2.48 p.m. local time (1148 GMT) on Sunday.
