The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras at between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500-1700 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,654.33 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 3.1% to around 2.10 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,200.18 liras and 3,216.54 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400.00 liras at between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0700, 1300-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,250.00 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.29 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
