The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 a.m.-10 a.m., and 4 p.m.-9 p.m. local time (between 0500-0700 and 1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,495 Turkish liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Sunday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 44.6% to around 1.79 billion Turkish liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,789.10 Turkish liras and 2,867.77 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (between 1400 and 1600 GMT and 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 715.11 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.04 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116GMT) on Sunday.
