The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500 - 0800 GMT), and 14.00 and 22.00 local time (1100 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 705 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 0.98% to 594.81 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,099.16 liras and 1,109.82 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,217 liras between 08.00 and 22.00 local time (0500 - 1900 GMT), with the lowest at 824.21 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local times (0000 and 1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 11.21 Turkish liras at 1100 GMT on Thursday.
