The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 4 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,948 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 5.3% to around 1.69 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 2,627.14 liras and 2,637.50 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday was set as 3,000 liras at 8 a.m. and between 6 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1500-1800 GMT), and the lowest was set as 1,408.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 37.99 liras at 2.14 p.m. local time (1114 GMT) on Tuesday.
