The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1400, 1600 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,410.10 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 1% to around 1.9 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,995.55 liras and 3,012.03 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 liras at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1400, 1600 GMT), while the lowest was 1,900 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.71 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Wednesday.
