The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 5 p.m. and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1400 and 1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Wednesday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 1,790 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 3.6% to around 1.84 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,983.68 liras and 2,990.26 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1500-2000 GMT), while the lowest at 1,790 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.07 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Wednesday.
