The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-1 a.m. local time (0500-0800 and 1000-2200 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 3.250 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows an increase of 15.8% to around 2.4 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,363.33 liras and 3,365.81 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 12.00 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Friday, and 1500-2000 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,150 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.56 liras at 2.31 p.m. local time (1131 GMT) on Sunday.
