The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,650 Turkish liras from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (0600 - 0700 GMT) and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1300 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,250 liras at 3 a.m. (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 5.1% to 1.78 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,140.54 liras and 3,199.61 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 3,650 liras from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (0600 - 0800 GMT) and between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. (1100 - 1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,375 liras at 2 a.m. (2300 GMT) according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.82 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Thursday.
