The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1500 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799.98 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 9.4% to around 1.73 billion Turkish liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,855.42 Turkish liras and 2,862.68 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0700, 1300-1800GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,271.42 Turkish liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.03 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100GMT) on Friday.
