The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,650 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (0500 - 0700 GMT) and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1400 - 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,376.99 liras at 3 a.m. (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an decrease of 1.62% to 1.56 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,101.09 liras and 3,132.50 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 3,650 liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,250.01 liras at 4 p.m. (1300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.88 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
