The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time ((2100 GMT, 1300-1900 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,350 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.7% to around 2.31 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,144.02 liras and 3,155.58 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 liras between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. and at 12 a.m. local time (1300-2000 GMT and 2100 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,801.01 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.45 liras at 2.36 p.m. local time (1136 GMT) on Wednesday.
