The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 4,200 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT) between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1300 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,494.54 liras at 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. (0000 and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of %2.13 to 1.63 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,936.19 liras and 3,022.90 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 4,200 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,495.54 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.79 liras at 2.31 p.m. local time (1131 GMT) on Wednesday.
