The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 17.00 and 21.00 local time (1400 and 1800GMT) while the lowest will be 670 liras at 04.00 local time (0100GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday's electricity market showed a decrease of 7.9% to 457.79 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 944.18 liras and 950.86 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Saturday was set as 1,217 Turkish liras between 17.00 and 18.00 local time (1400 and 1500GMT) , while the lowest was 04.00 and 05.00 local time (0100 and 0200GMT).
US$1 equals 10.99 Turkish liras at 1117 GMT on Sunday.
