The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,395.01 Turkish liras at between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1700-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,899.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 4.5% to around 2.2 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,078.1 and 3,084.03 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,399 liras at between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1400-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,811.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.17 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Thursday.
