The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,399.54 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500-0600 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,000 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 60% to around 1.52 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,684.28 liras and 2,682 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,399.01 Turkish liras between 8 p.m. local time (1700-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 748 liras at 15 p.m. local time (1200 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.49 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
