The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500 and 1400 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,621.20 Turkish liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 16.8% to around 1.58 billion Turkish liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,767.19 Turkish liras and 2,768.02 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300-1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,250 Turkish liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.65 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Friday.
