The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, and 1300-1500 GMT), according to official figures released on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,125 liras at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. local time (2300 GMT on Sunday and 0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 14.9% to around 1.91 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,926.94 liras and 2,977.29 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,275 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.78 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Sunday.
