The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,719.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 0.5% to around 1.99 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,046.91 liras and 3,043.45 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,250.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.72 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Thursday.
