The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), according to official figures released on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,275 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 9% to around 1.66 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,925.23 liras and 2,932.91 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1400, 1500, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,297.18 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.78 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
