The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300-1700 GMT) local time, according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,250 Turkish liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT) local time, the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 0.2% to around 1.90 billion Turkish liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,026.88 Turkish liras and 3,043.52 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., between 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1100-1500, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,721.01 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT) local time, the data showed.
