The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, and 1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,899.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Tuesday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 3.5% to around 1.89 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,939.22 liras and 2,963.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0500-0700, 1000-1200 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,275 Turkish liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.7 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Tuesday.
