The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1400, 1500, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,297.18 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 8.2% to around 1.82 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,925.23 liras and 2,932.91 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0400-0600 and 1300-1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,719.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.81 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Friday.
