The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,811.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 10.3% to around 2.1 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,968 and 2,977.70 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1600 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,000.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.05 liras at 2.31 p.m. local time (1131 GMT) on Thursday.
