The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. (2100-0100 GMT), at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (0500, 0600 GMT), and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1300-2000 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2.920 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.91% to around 2.49 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,333.98 liras and 3,331.37 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 12 a.m. and 11 a.m. (2100-0800 GMT) and between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1000-2000 GMT), while the lowest was set at 3.250 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.57 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Tuesday.
