The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,500 Turkish liras at 08.00, 09.00 and 20.00 local time (0500, 0600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest is determined as 1,572.49 liras at 15.00 local time (1200 GMT), the figures show.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 5.59% to 1.20 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,217.65 liras and 2,217.60 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set as 2,500 liras at 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600 and 0800 GMT), and between 16.00 and 23.00 local time (1300 - 2000 GMT), with the lowest at 2,044.29 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 14.66 liras at 1118 GMT on Tuesday.
