The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 12.00 a.m. to 2 a.m., 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 5 p.m.-11 p.m. (2100-0000, 0500,0600, 1400-2000GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,500 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a increase of 37% to around 2.33 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,248.11 and 3,245.06 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 4 a.m.-6 a.m. and 6 p.m.-11 p.m. (0100-0300 GMT and 1500-2000GMT, while the lowest at 999.99 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.83 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100GMT) on Sunday.
