The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1300-1800 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1056.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday’s electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 2.2% to around 1.74 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,936.42 liras and 2,946.60 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 501 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.85 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
