The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 14.9% to around 8.57 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to about 7.46 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,479.26 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 592,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 154.4 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 41.83 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Wednesday.
