The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 144.6% to around 7.60 million liras on Wednesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to about 3.12 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,127.90 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 538,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 332.6 million cubic meters on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 43.30 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
