The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 81.5% to around 8.84 million Turkish liras on Thursday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Friday.
Total trade on Wednesday amounted to about 4.87 million liras.
On Thursday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,200.66 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 623,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 331.73 million cubic meters on Thursday.
US$1 equals 43.23 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Friday.
