The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,399.98 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 780 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 1% to around 1.79 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,891.04 liras and 2,899.39 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1400-1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 779.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.82 liras at 2.28 p.m. local time (1128 GMT) on Tuesday.
