The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,399.01 Turkish liras at 5 p.m. (1400 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 715.11 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 19.8% to around 1.6 billion liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,668.56 liras and 2,669.10 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. (0500, 0600, 1400-1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,719.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.57 liras at 2.25 p.m. local time (1125 GMT) on Tuesday.
