The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,399.01 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,249.99 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 1.7% to around 2.31 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,082.62 liras and 3,087.66 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Tuesday was set at 3,399 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,125 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.67 liras at 2.12 p.m. local time (1112 GMT) on Monday.
