The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1500-1900 GMT), according to official figures released on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,080.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 12.8% to around 1.73 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,755.88 liras and 2,724.38 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest at 1,999.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.11 liras at 2.22 p.m. local time (1122 GMT) on Wednesday.
