The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 5 p.m., and between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Saturday, 1400 GMT and 1600-2000 GMT), according to official figures released Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1724.99 liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 4.9% to around 2.1 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,121.32 liras and 3,124.19 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 12.00 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2100 GMT on Friday, and 1500-2000 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,150 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.56 liras at 2.33 p.m. local time (1133 GMT) on Saturday.
