The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time, and between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0300-0600 GMT and 1400-2000 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,397.59 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Saturday's electricity market trade volume shows an increase of 18.1% to around 1.61 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,046.30 liras and 3,046.60 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 and 8 p.m local time (1400-1700 GMT), while the lowest was 130.01 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m local time (0900, 1000 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 41.97 liras at 2.21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) on Friday.
