The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 8 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (1700-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 845.70 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Monday’s electricity market shows an increase of 74.2% to around 1.60 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,513.84 liras and 2,506.08 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0600 - 0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.67 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Sunday.
