The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 3,399.46 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,379.79 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows an increase of 35.9% to around 1.90 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,895.17 liras and 2,911.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Sunday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 251.01 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.18 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Sunday.
