The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,217 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600-0800 GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local time (1100-1800 GMT), while the lowest will be 763.09 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 16.6% to 616.39 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 1,089.31 liras and 1,097.84 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,217 liras between 17.00 and 18.00 local time (1400-1500 GMT), with the lowest at 600 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 13.69 Turkish liras at 1123 GMT on Tuesday.
