The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 6 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (0500, 1500-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,650.01 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 3.3% to around 1.63 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 2,514.87 liras and 2,524.21 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Wednesday was set as 3,000 Turkish liras between 4 p.m and 9 p.m. local time (1300-1800 GMT), and the lowest was set as 1,948 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT).
US$1 equals 38 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
