The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Saturday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 129 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 30% to around 1.08 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,999.04 liras and 1,989.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., and between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100 and 1500-1900 GMT), while the lowest at 1,000.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.89 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
